My Story
Flowers lift the spirit and refresh the soul
Fleur d’amour was born out of the desire to bring peace to both mind and soul. My name is Megan and I am the owner and floral designer at Fleur d’amour.
I founded the business as a way of seeking refuge from a demanding schedule.
My love for the teaching profession transformed spontaneously into a love and respect for the power of flowers, not only as a source of beauty but as an emotional energiser. After dedicating time to the art of floristry design, I developed the confidence and pure drive to pursue a career in flowers, a journey that acted as both a self-awakening and an opportunity to share that passion with people. It is the very presence of flowers that energises me, providing me with the desire to share the same aesthetic power of flowers with others.
My intense love for Sunflowers in particular has led to my contribution to the Sunflower Fund which is a donor recruitment centre and stem cell research centre for Africa. For every bunch of flowers purchased, R2 will be donated to the Sunflower Fund. Fleur d’amour encapsulates the soul, tranquillity, energy, memories and serenity that accompanies each arrangement of flowers.
I also believe in creating arrangements that speak to the language and symbolism of flowers.

I am in the business of uplifting people and refreshing their souls through flowers. I not only use flowers to energise myself but also transfer that energy to spaces and people simply because I would like people to experience the same uplifting sensation that I felt at a time in my life when I desperately needed revitalisation of mind, body and soul.
Fleur d’amour offers a range of flower arrangements to compliment any occasion, to feed the soul and to cater to the needs of the individual. I believe that flowers automatically bring happiness to people, allowing for the forging of both new and existing relationships with family, friends and romantic partners.
The flowers I select are of the highest quality and will be arranged with energy and passion. My business offers fast and efficient service.
